Old Solomon’s Cottage dates back from the 16th century and still retains many original features of oak beams with wattle and daub walls. The picture postcard cottage is set in half an acre of pleasant cottage gardens in the pretty village of Cookham Dean. The double room is in the cottage itself with the twin bedded studio adjacent. The surrounding area is ideal for country walks with excellent views overlooking the River Thames. Cookham Dean is an excellent base for touring the Thames Valley, Oxford and the Cotswolds. Windsor and Henley are within 10-15 miles, Heathrow 25 miles and London 30 miles are all easily accessible. A no smoking house. Contact David & Valerie Griffin |
